I am not an expert.  I am on a mission.  A fact finding mission.  A mission to engage in discussion and debate.  Education is important stuff.  As a country–we need it.  As a productive and healthy society–we need it.  I’m not talking world domination.  Or being world leaders in the quest for knowledge or the quest for the highest test scores.  It’s not a competition.  Especially with the world.  We can look to other nations for inspiration, for ideas, for solutions.  But we do not need to be the winners.  We need to compete with ourselves.  How do we make our education system better?  Here.  At home.
